| Meet some of our knitters. Wawas is currently working with a group of women in the Buenos Aires area in the creation of our pieces. All knitters are paid by the job before it's sold and they are provided with the material they need to work. Every piece comes with a tag identifying the knitter that created it. |
CRISTINA lives in Boulogne

NANCY lives in Tigre (by the "Rio
de la Plata" just outside of Buenos
Aires). She's a mother of two
children and a proud
grandmother. She's 65 years old
and she started knitting in the last
few years. She was able to
overcome a severe depression
through her knitting with Wawas.
